Turn an Epic Day on the Water into a Painting That Lasts a Lifetime
I can turn your favorite fishing memories into original paintings that light up a room and spark stories for decades.

A Gift That Turned a Memory Into Art
This commission began with a photo from an unforgettable Alaska fishing trip — a husband holding a beautiful rainbow trout. His wife wanted to surprise him with something more lasting than a picture, so she asked me to turn that moment into a painting.
The result was a 2’ × 4’ original that now hangs in their home, capturing not just the fish, but the memory they shared together.
Some of the best days of our lives live quietly in our phones — a great catch, a trip with friends, a personal best that meant something. Now you can get your fishing stories out of your phone and onto your wall.

FAQs
-
Do I need a photo? — No.
-
What if I only have one photo? — That’s usually enough.
-
Can you match the exact colors and markings of my fish? – Yes. Matching color, and distinctive markings is a big part of my process.
-
Can you include details like the date, location, or size of the fish? – Absolutely. Many collectors like to include those details in the corner of the painting. We can decide together what looks best.
-
Can I commission a painting as a gift? – Yes, and they make unforgettable gifts. Many commissions are surprises for spouses, parents, or fishing partners.

-
How does payment work? — 50% to begin, 50% upon completion.

A father asked me to paint his son’s personal best trout from a fishing trip they took together to the San Juan River. It was one of those trips neither of them will ever forget—the kind that becomes family history.
This painting now hangs in his son’s home, capturing not just the fish, but the memory of that trip and the time they shared on the water.
