The background is made of teal and soft yellows. I appears something ripped through the calm just moments ago - leaving a beautiful streak of crimson behind. Some paintings smack you in the face with bold, sassy color. Not this one. It is more subtle in its beauty. Like all my paintings, this one is sealed under a thick, shiny layer of epoxy resin. The resin gives excellent UV protection while giving the painting a beautiful, deep luster. The size is nice too. Not too big. Not too small and this beauty was painted on a top quality, gallery wrapped canvas.
